	\item Radiation: standard PSI calibration sources will be used. 
	\item High voltages for photomultiplier and MWPCs: commercial
          and safety accredited
          HV supply units, cables and SHV connectors will be used.
	\item Fire and explosion: no explosive material will be used in the
		experiment.
	\item Cryogenic apparatus: liquid nitrogen may be used for the Ge detector,
		standard precautions will be taken.
        \item The proton measurement uses an evacuated target chamber, with a mylar
                  window of standard PSI beam window design. 
        \item Flammable gas with small flux ($<$ 50 cc/min) will be used for the wire chamber;
                  standard gas detectors and alarm system will monitor gas leaks.
